The 175 years old historic hotel has been of great inspiration to work with. Together with the 5th generation we made an atmosphere where you still feel the history, but with a contemporary classic twist based on the heritage.
We wanted the guests to feel welcome into this beautiful historic hotel. Through refurbishing most of the common areas, alongside the hotel rooms, we have created a warm, elegant atmosphere where people both can be social and feel at home.
A family needed to renovate the whole seaside cottage with a focus on maintaining the atmosphere of the old cottage. The new solution reflects an indoor/outdoor feeling by using a lot of panoramic windows together with open planning.
The new colour scheme is natural, with some bright colours, that suits the owners as well as the nature in this area.
A charming two floor apartment was refurbished in 2011 with a mix of both contemporary and classic furniture. Together with transitional art and lighting, transparent furniture are used together with the classical, wooden furniture to enhance the dynamic between them.
Customized furniture is also part of this flat and the compact living philosophy has been used downstairs as well as upstairs.
